Our classes typically take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays, but we can accommodate other days depending on time of day and availability. Let us know what works best for you!
Please note that classes require a minimum of 2 paying students to take place, but others may join your class to make it even more fun and interactive. Our spacious kitchen boasts high ceilings and excellent ventilation, with open windows that let in plenty of air in. If needed, we also have air conditioning available to ensure your comfort.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your convenience, meet us
at 9:45 am at a convenient location to begin your experience with our guided tour. We’ll explore the local market, vendors, butcher, tortilla factory, bakery and more. Our knowledgeable guide will share insights about the ingredients while showing you the best spots to find them.
After the market, we'll head back to our OCULTO kitchen to prepare a mouthwatering lunch menu featuring three dishes and fresh salsa.
Our expert chefs will share traditions, techniques, and tips used in Mexican cuisine so that you can cook with confidence when you return home. We'll also try our hand at making corn tortillas if time allows. Throughout our time together, we keep things engaging and fun with plenty of interesting conversations and insights into Mexican culture and gastronomy. We'll sit down and savor the dishes together at our table.

If you prefer a shorter but equally enjoyable experience, join us for our class and lunch (or dinner) option. Starting at 11 am (or 5 pm).
We'll meet at the OCULTO kitchen and dive right into cooking a delicious three-course meal with fresh made salsa.
Our expert chefs will share traditions, techniques, and tips used in Mexican cooking so that you will be able to cook with confidence when you return home. We'll also try our hand at making tortillas if time allows. Throughout our time together, we keep things interesting and fun with plenty of engaging conversation and insights into Mexican cuisine & culture. We’ll sit down and savor our creations over drinks and lunch (or dinner) before finishing up the experience around 3.00 pm (or 10 pm). Total time 4hrs
